two small heliogenic drawings
made in 1996.

designed in 2005, these digital works
were finally published as limited
edition pigment prints in 2023.

my primary interest here was
in conducting a pure and strident—
even sibilant—exploration of our
prevailing digital color space.

the formal and chromatic content
of the1996 source works were
unadorned, plastic descriptions
of the transient realities
that generated them.

here, that is clearly
not the case.
